Pineview Get-Away

We went and stayed in some condos up in Pineview for a few nights. Swimming, tennis, and the beach! Perfect way to end the summer!

Canyons!

We always love to go to the canyons at least once during the summer. We love it up there. It is so peaceful and beautiful.

24th of July

Deik and Melanie had us over for a party at Tom and Nellie Parkers for the 24th. They have a pool and a hot tub. Then we did fireworks that night. It was lots of fun!

Ogden Rodeo

We went to our first rodeo! It was hilarious. When we told the boys we were going, they were like, "what is a rodeo?" The company that Jay R. sells headstones for gave us some tickets and night at a hotel.

The boys just thrilled. It was so HOT and they were dying.

Once it cooled off and the rodeo actually started they ended up liking it. They thought the clowns were hilarious! Glad I caught a smile on their faces!

And of course Brin had no interest. Who has time for a rodeo when there are cell phones and lip gloss around?!

And my favorite part of the little getaway was THIS...

It's called Zeppe's

We were driving down the road when I noticed this place and wondered what it was. There were lots of people and so we decided to try it. SO GOOD! Coconut italian water ice with chocolate custard! Yummy!

Cherry Hill

We went to Cherry Hill with Jeff and Jeni and their kids. We pitched our tents and had a blast!

I am so thankful to have so many of our family members so close to us. We have so much fun!

4th of July

We always start the holiday off the day before with a big sleep-out with my moms extended family. We have had this tradition ever since I can remember and we love it! It is so much fun and all the kids have a blast.

This was not our typical 4th of July day this year and I have hardly any pictures because of the chaotic day. No party pics or fireworks. Sad. Being our first year to have our business going, we were in the Tooele parade and then the Grantsville parade and the day was crazy and exhausting. Our kids got to help and they loved driving the golf cart.

Brin got to go to the parade and get candy with Grandma!
